Hello Kitty Wreath Card

This is a Christmas card for my youngest daughter, Maisie, inspired by the BBTB2 challenge to use a wreath in the card. I don't have the wreath specified, but have made this by cutting 2 scalloped circles and holly leaves from Winter Woodland. The Merry christmas and the standing kitty are from the Hello Kitty Greetings, the two angel Kitty's are from Hello Kitty Font

I haven't had much time to craft recently, so its all been a bit rushed, but I did enjoy doing this card for Christmas and as part of the BBTB2 challenge to use the Santa from Winter Frolic. I have also used the reindeer from Create a Critter and the Sleigh from Winter Woodland. Backing paper is K & Co

Deck the halls

I did this card for the Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge. This week we have to use Deck the Halls and the ornament from Winter Frolic. I have used these with the birdhouse from the same cartridge.

Snowmen Card

My Cricut has been red hot over the last couple of days cutting a whole blizzard of snowmen and a large forest of christmas trees. Decided to use them on a side step card for those special people at Christmas. Snowmen and trees are Winter Frolic, wording Winter Woodland

Fridge notebooks

These notebooks have magnets on the reverse and also a ribbon tie to give a choice of hanging.

Distressed Journals

These are a few of the journals I made for Something Special craft fair in Oswestry on Saturday. Had a good day and made enough profit to fund a few goodies at the Crab Apple Retreat in November.

Cricut

I am trying now to post a few of my cards and layouts made using the Cricut machine which I adore.
The pirate was done using Paper Doll Dress Up. The clouds in the background used the Great Impressions cloud stencil with brilliance Sky Blue ink pad. The paper was DCWV from one of their photo papers stacks

Sunday, 25 April 2010

This colourful card uses 4 different stamps. The Divas are Vivian (trying on shoes) and Melanie (carrying bags). The wording stamps on the inside are Shop, Shop, Shop for the background, and Life is Sweet for the greetings. I have used DCWV cardstock and punched out flowers using the Woodware Daisy punches

Bunnie Rubber Romance

Below is Bunnie from Rubber Romance. She is stamped in versafine and then coloured in using Marvy's. Her slippers and the edges of her dressing gown are trimmed in white flocking, but that doesn't really show on the picture. She is mounted on Bo Bunny perfectly plaid. All materials available from Horseshoe Crafts.
The wording stamp is also Rubber Romance.

Cherri was cut out and mounted on a replica of the Mastercard logo, to give a real shopping feel. I then copied some credit card logos, minimised and cut them out, and then attached them with a clip to the card under the saying "pick a card, any card and lets go shopping"

This next card is using Kristy from Rubber Romance. She has been stamped twice. I added a raised acetate frame to look like a shop window, then cut out the 2nd Kristy and added her on the outside of the acetate as if she was looking into the shop
